Check out what’s new!

Hey all!

We’ve updated the albums on our facebook page to include more pictures from each of our events and sessions over the past year.  Stop by and give them a look!  Leave us some feedback as well.  We would love to hear what you think!

http://www.new.facebook.com/pages/Nashville-TN/Jeremy-Howard-Photography/16509824965
We’re currently working on a big change that we’re sure will make getting the perfect wedding package easier.  We are restructuring our price list and available services.  In the next month or so we will be introducing a “one package” wedding system.  Each bride and groom will start out with our Base Package, which includes 5 hours of coverage on the wedding day, travel for the wedding, our attendance at your wedding rehearsal, online ordering and previewing, an engagement session, and gallery link cards that feature your engagement portrait to hand out to all your wedding guests - all for one low base price.  With this as a starting place, each bride and groom will add the products and services they desire for their wedding: albums, portrait sessions, hours of coverage, High Resolution DVDs, Low Resolution CDs, etc.. There’s a whole heap of options with which to customize your package.  Gone are the days of picking a pre-made package that “sort
of fits.”  Starting soon, each wedding with Jeremy Howard Photography will be a totally custom wedding.

Even though we will no longer offer pre-built packages, we are still keeping our prices low.  We worked hard to make sure we are still giving you the best price by bundling products and services together. It took a lot of thought and a lot of time to develop our new one package system, but it is completely worth it!  We are so excited about serving our clients - our friends - better.
We’ve also added a new Economy Album line.  These are high-quality, professional grade albums, but since they have a simpler construction, they are a cost-effective way to display pictures of you, your family, or your loved ones.  This new line includes a 10 page mini-album which contains 20, 2×3 inch prints.  This “brag book” will make a great gift for yourself or someone else!  You can always have pictures on hand of your children, grandchildren, or even friends in this neat mini-album that fits perfectly in a purse or backpack.

We are very excited about all the changes going on around here.  Even though there are a lot of changes going on, our Summer Wedding Specials will still be available until September 22nd, 2008 (the first day of Autumn).  Check back here to find out about other special offers and updates on what’s happening!

Wedding Sneak Peek - Rachel and Jeffrey: June 7, 2008

What a wedding weekend!  Jeremy and I traveled up to Terre Haute, Indiana, on Friday for the Saturday wedding, not knowing what kind of weekend wedding excitement we were in for.  In a 15 hour period, Mother Nature dropped over 11 inches of rain on the already soggy central Indiana area.  It flooded. Big time.  Southern Terre Haute was impassable for most of Saturday — the wedding day.  Road closures and detours caused a whole bevy of problems: the cake was stuck in a neighboring town for a little while; the band (coming from Indianapolis) was stuck in a back up caused by an interstate closure; the county was declared a state of emergency, leaving the mall where hair and makeup appointments were scheduled to opening four hours late; and even the groom was stuck outside of town for an hour or so!  You may be thinking to yourself, “Why didn’t they just cancel?”  We heard of at least two weddings that were canceled that day because of churches flooding, even though the weather turned sunny and hot by noontime Saturday.  Rachel and Jeffrey kept their spirits going, and the wedding actually worked out with little to no evidence of being affected at all!

In spite of the morning rain and flooding, Rachel and Jeff were married, as planned, at 5 PM in the Central Presbyterian Church in Terre Haute.  They had their reception in the outdoor grassy amphitheater at Fairbanks Park near the bank on the Wabash River.  Even though things didn’t go exactly as planned, this will most certainly be a memorable day for all who were involved!  It was easy to forget the tense times leading to the ceremony when watching this awesome couple take their vows and first kiss as husband and wife.

Here are a few pictures from their wedding and reception.  The entire collection will be up on our website by the end of the week.  If you would like a password to view the gallery, please either contact Rachel or myself (rebekah@jeremyhoward.com).

Alicia and Brent’s Wedding

Wow! It’s been a little while since we’ve been on here. We got to be a part of Alicia and Brent’s wedding at Centennial Park on May 10th. They had already gotten married by the Justice of the Peace, but because they found value in having friends and family celebrate with them, they had a small ceremony in the garden area. I had never realized you could actually reserve the garden, so this was a first for me! You can obtain a permit from the Metro Park people to reserve a section of the park for your event, and Alicia and Brent secured the garden for their ceremony. That didn’t stop onlookers and other photo enthusiasts from peeking in on the celebration, as we noticed a few that were taking shots in the distance. After the ceremony, everyone was invited to a delicious buffet-style meal catered by Famous Dave’s.

Here’s an overhead shot of the ceremony. The ceremony itself was short, so the guests huddled around the little stone bridge in the garden to watch.
